The urge to create characters that come to life on the screen has been with Rodney Matthews almost as long as he can remember. As a child he used to
watch Disney's Snow White, Pinocchio or Peter Pan at the local cinema, then rush home and try to draw the characters and scenes from memory. Animating
his own work has been a long and elusive quest for Matthews, with many will-o'-the-wisps that have previously led nowhere. However, that has now
changed for the better with the production of his Lavender Castle concept for children's TV. There have also been recent sojourns into the territory
of computer games, and Matthews has several other projects up his sleeve for animation and games. These are awaiting development investment.
